Photochromic Materials

UGAM has developed a superior photochromic technology to create multi-segments of the transmittance changes by UV （Ultraviolet） irradiation.
The best performance of UGAM’s photochromic technology can create the visible transmittance from 90% drop down to lower than 15% in few seconds. In accordance with EYEWEAR’s defined filter lens specifications, UGAM’s photochromic technology can achieve the results of from Cat.0 to Cat.3.
UGAM’s photochromic technology is more widely used in many different materials, even composite materials.

Toward to meet the different needs of the market, UGAM has developed several different types of photochromic :

Photochromic Films

PHS or PHX Series:

The resin that changes color quickly after being irradiated by UV light is mixed into the TAC raw material and the photochromic TAC film material is produced

by using film casting technology.

PHC Series:

The resin that UV light irradiation causes color change from clear to blue-smoke is integrated into the pressure-sensitive colloid with an acrylic base, and then

a photochromic double-sided adhesive film is produced through precision coating technology.

High-durability Dyeing Polarizer

UGAM offers high-durability polarizer by using special oily colorants with dyeing technology.
UGAM has developed a variety of polarizing products with different performance ratios between transmittance and polarization.
UGAM has created a neutral gray polarized product that is closest to the original color seen by the human eye.

Polarizer Sheets（Colourful）

UGAM offers many different colored-polarizer sheets by owner color-dyeing and multi-laminating technology. A lot of colors of polarizer can be satisfied all specific requirement. Furthermore, all clients can choose the AS（anti-scratch） over the both sides of sheet, or one side is AS, and another side is LEAF（Lasting Environment Anti-Fog）to match with the final application goods.

UGAM offers superior Anti-Fog film by tuning formula the Tri-Acetate Cellulose（TAC）and doing chemical treatment over the film.
UGAM superior Anti-Fog TAC has 92% transmission rate & less than 0.5% haze value with the better visibility compared to other anti-fog film.
UGAM superior Anti-Fog Film has the unique advantage of the permanent hygroscopicity performance and more than 90% prepared by cotton seed, so it is an environmental material. We also call it as the “LEAF” （Lasting & Environmental Anti-Fog）.
